The historic Hilton Checkers Hotel and Checkers Downtown restaurant have been completely revamped and the result is fabulous so we’re sure you’ll enjoy this upcoming SingularCity Happy Hour event where we’ll also celebrate the birthdays of BT, BMixQueen (Val Bassett) and all SingularCity members with February birthdays (let us know who you are!).
The theme is Mexico with margaritas and other cocktails prepared with top-of-the line Partida tequila.
Checkers Downtown chef Todd Allison will provide a selection of four dishes to go with the drinks. He shops every day for what is fresh and best, so be assured that you’ll be very pleased with the gourmet dishes he creates.
The best news is that the tequila drinks and small plate dishes are just $5 each.
You can “design-your-own margarita” with raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, mango, peaches, mint, sweet basil, ginger, jalapeno and bell peppers. Margaritas at Checkers are made from Partida Tequila, fresh hand-squeezed lime juice, and the natural sweetness of pure agave nectar. There’s no nasty sour mix or cheap triple sec in their margaritas.
If you prefer something other than tequila, there is a full bar, including a selection of wine by the glass.
